Privacy policy.

Last updated: 4 October 2026. Short version: we collect what we need to send you stickers and nothing we don't. We don't sell your data.

1. Who we are

The data controller is We Are Create & Print Ltd, trading as Speedy Stickers, of Unit A, Doulton Road Trading Estate, Rowley Regis, B65 8JQ. If you want to talk to us about your data, email hello@speedystickers.co.uk.

2. What we collect, and why

When you place an order we collect: your name, email, delivery address, phone number if you give it, your artwork, your IP address, and your payment details (handled by Shopify Payments and Stripe — we never see or store your card number).

We use this to take payment, send you a proof, print and ship your order, email you about it, deal with returns, and keep accounting records.

When you browse the site we also collect cookies and basic analytics (pages viewed, device, approximate location) through Shopify and, if we've switched it on, Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. We use these to see what's working on the site and to show you relevant ads later. You can opt out of non-essential cookies in the banner on your first visit.

3. Our legal basis

We rely on three UK GDPR bases: contract (to fulfil your order), legal obligation (to keep tax records for six years), and legitimate interest (fraud prevention, basic analytics, suggesting a reorder when you've bought the same thing before). Marketing emails go only to people who opt in; you can unsubscribe from any one with the link at the bottom.

4. Who we share it with

Only the suppliers we need to run the business, and only the data they actually need:

  • Shopify Inc. — hosts the store, runs checkout, processes payments through Shopify Payments / Stripe.
  • Royal Mail / DPD / Evri — delivers your order; they get name, address, and phone if provided.
  • Google (Workspace & Analytics) — email service and site analytics.
  • Klaviyo or Shopify Email — sends marketing and transactional emails if you've opted in.
  • GemPages — page builder we use to design parts of the site.
  • Our accountant — for tax filings.
  • HMRC and other UK authorities — if we're legally required to.

Some of these companies are based outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on either the UK's adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, so your data stays protected to UK GDPR standards.

5. How long we keep it

  • Order records — 6 years, to meet HMRC rules.
  • Uploaded artwork — 90 days after shipping, unless you asked us to keep it for reorders.
  • Marketing lists — until you unsubscribe or we haven't heard from you in 2 years, whichever comes first.
  • Website analytics — 14 months (Google Analytics default).

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

  • Show you what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your data (unless we have to keep it for tax or legal reasons).
  • Restrict or object to how we use it.
  • Give you a portable copy to take elsewhere.

Email hello@speedystickers.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for the cart and checkout to work. We use analytics cookies to see which pages people use. We may use advertising cookies to show you our ads on other sites. The cookie banner on your first visit lets you accept or reject the non-essential ones. You can change your choice any time at the bottom of the site.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if what we do changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
